What is the shelf life?
Unopened bottles of Troovy sauces have a shelf life of 9 months. Once opened, our sauces behave exactly like homemade sauces. Please store open bottles in the refrigerator, and consume the sauce within 50 days.
How do your sauces get their shelf life if they don’t have chemicals?
Our sauces are absolutely free of chemical preservatives and additives. We use the same preservation techniques used in our kitchens for many decades. We cook them to kill microbes, hot fill them in the sterilised bottles for shelf life. Natural ingredients like vinegar, salt, jaggery, and lemon juice ensure preservation inside the bottle.
Does your tomato sauce taste like a regular sauce? Would my kids like the taste?
Yes, it tastes just like your favourite sauce, only healthier. We do not believe in compromising on taste to make products healthy.
How long does the sauce stay good if I use it in sandwiches etc., for school tiffins?
Troovy sauce, while all-natural, boasts natural preservation techniques and stays good for up to 2 days in your tiffin.
Any allergen information I should know of?
Troovy pizza pasta sauce has no allergens. It does have soy flour which is a rare allergen.
