  • 2 cups shredded cabbage
  • 1/2 cup chickpea flour (besan)
  • 1/4 cup rice flour
  • 1/4 cup finely chopped onions
  • 1 tsp ginger paste
  • 1/2 tsp cumin seeds,
  • 1/2 tsp turmeric powder,
  • Salt to taste
  • Cooking spray or oil spray

Step 1: Prepare the Batter

In a large mixing bowl, combine the shredded cabbage, chickpea flour, rice flour, finely chopped onions, ginger paste, cumin seeds, turmeric powder, and salt. Mix everything well until all the ingredients are evenly distributed. 

 

Step 2: Preheat the Air Fryer

Preheat your air fryer to 375°F (190°C) for a few minutes. This will ensure the fritters cook evenly and get crispy.

 

Step 3: Shape the Fritters

Take spoonful of the prepared batter and shape them into small fritters using your hands. You can use a tablespoon to portion out the batter and then gently shape them into round or oval shapes. The fritters should be small enough to fit comfortably in the air fryer basket without crowding.

 

Step 4: Place the Fritters in the Air Fryer

Arrange the shaped fritters in the greased air fryer basket. Spray Cooking Oil Lightly spray the fritters with cooking oil. This will help them get crispy and golden brown during cooking.

 

Step 5: Air Fry the Fritters

Place the basket in the preheated air fryer and cook the fritters at 375°F (190°C) for 10-12 minutes. Halfway through the cooking time, carefully flip the fritters to ensure even cooking on both sides.
