Chocolate Kheer

Ingredients
1/2 cup basmati rice
2 cups milk
1/2 cup Troovy’s chocolate milk mix
1/8 cup stevia
1/4 cup chopped nuts (cashews, almonds, or pistachios)
1/4 cup raisins
1/2 tsp cardamom powder
A pinch of saffron strands
Fresh mint leaves (for garnish)
Directions
Rinse the basmati rice and cook it in a pot with 1 cup of water until tender.
In a separate pan, heat 2 cups of milk until it begins to simmer. Stir in Troovy’s chocolate milk mix and stevia.
Add the cooked rice to the chocolate milk mixture. Cook over medium heat, stirring frequently, until the mixture thickens to a pudding-like consistency (about 15-20 minutes).
Stir in cardamom powder, saffron strands, and chopped nuts. Add raisins and cook for a few more minutes.
Let the pudding cool slightly, then garnish with fresh mint leaves before serving. It can be enjoyed warm or chilled.
