Healthy Cracker Sandwich
These bite-sized delights feature a flavorful filling sandwiched between two crispy crackers, creating a perfect balance of textures and tastes. Get ready to experience the delightful combination of savory fillings and the satisfying crunch of crackers in every mouthwatering bite.
- Baked crackers
- 1/2 cup potatoes, boiled and mashed 1
- /2 cup paneer, crumbled or grated
- 1/4 cup boiled corn, diced bell pepper, and chopped coriander
- 1/4 cup cheese, grated
- Salt to taste, 2 tbsp butter (for greasing)
- 2 tsp toasted sesame seeds
- and oregano
Step 1: Sauté the Vegetables
Heat a pan over medium heat and add olive oil. Add bell peppers, ginger, and corn to the pan. Sauté the vegetables for about 5 minutes until they become tender.
Step 2: Prepare the Filling
Turn off the flame and add paneer (Indian cottage cheese), potatoes, salt, and Troovy Tandoori dip to the pan. Mix all the ingredients together until well combined.
Step 3: Add Cheese
Once the filling has cooled down, add cheese to the mixture and stir well. The cheese will melt slightly and help bind the filling together.
Step 4: Assemble the Sandwiches
Take two crackers and place approximately 1 tablespoon of the filling mixture between them, forming a sandwich. Repeat the process to make more sandwiches until all the filling is used.
Step 5: Brush with Butter and Season
Preheat the oven to 200°C (390°F). Brush the top of each sandwich with melted butter, ensuring they are evenly coated. Sprinkle sesame seeds and oregano over the buttered tops of the sandwiches, adding a flavorful crunch. Bake the Sandwiches.
