Mini Idli recipe
The popular South Indian breakfast is now even healthier. Everyone loves having Idlis as breakfast so, here is an idli recipe with a twist to make it even more amazing.
Ingredients of Mini idli:
- 1 cup curd
- 1 cup suji (semolina)
- Chopped carrots
- Chopped beans
- Chopped Green Chilies
- Curry Leaves
- Maggi Masala
- Salt as per taste
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1 cup water
- Chili flakes
- Oregano
step by-step method
Step 1 Prepare the batter
In a mixing bowl, add the curd and suji. Add the chopped carrots, beans, green chilies, and curry leaves and mix well. Now add Maggi masala, and salt as per taste along with water and mix well again. Leave aside for 10-15 mins and add baking powder. Add the chilli flakes and oregano and mix it well again.
Step 2 Cooking the idlis
Grease the idli pan with butter. Fill the batter in the pan and cook on low flame for 5-7 mins with a lid. Flip to cook both sides.
Step 3 Serve hot
Remove the idlis from the pan and serve with khatti - meethi chutneys.
