Mushroom Bruschetta

This classic Italian appetizer combines sautéed mushrooms and garlic goodness on crispy toasted bread. With a generous spread of Pizza Pasta sauce and a sprinkle of fresh basil, it's a flavor explosion in every bite. Perfect for parties or when you're craving a tasty snack!


  • 4 slices of bread
  • 2 cups mushrooms, sliced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Troovy Pizza Pasta Sauce
  • Fresh basil leaves (for garnish)


Step-by-step method


Step 1: Sauté Garlic and Mushrooms

Heat olive oil in a pan over medium heat. Add minced garlic to the pan and sauté. Add sliced mushrooms to the pan and sauté for 5-6 minutes, stirring occasionally, until they become tender and lightly browned.


Step 2: Toast the Bread Slices

Place the bread slices on a baking sheet and toast them in the oven for a few minutes until they become crispy and golden brown. 


Step 3: Assemble the Bruschetta

Once the bread slices are toasted, remove them from the oven and let them cool slightly. Spread Troovy Pizza Pasta sauce on each bread slice, covering the entire surface. Top each bread slice with the mushrooms, spreading them evenly.


Step 4: Bake the Bruschetta

Place the assembled bruschetta back on the baking sheet and return them to the oven. Bake for approximately 3-4 minutes until the bruschetta is heated through and the toppings are nicely melted.


Garnish each slice with fresh basil leaves & Serve!!
