STUFFED PASTA SHELLS
Ingredients:
- 1 cup pasta shells
- 100g grated paneer
- 1 cup tomato puree
- 2 cups chopped spinach
- 1 minced garlic clove
- Grated mozzarella cheese
- 1/2 cup Troovy Pizza Pasta Sauce
- Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper to taste
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
Directions:
- 1. Prepare Spinach Filling:
- In a pan, heat olive oil over medium heat.
- Add minced garlic and sauté until fragrant.
- Stir in chopped spinach and season with salt. Cook until the spinach wilts.
- Remove from heat and let it cool slightly.
- Mix in the grated paneer and fresh cream to create a creamy spinach mixture.
- 2. Stuff Pasta Shells:
- Take the cooked pasta shells and stuff them with the creamy spinach mixture. Set aside.
- 3. Prepare Tomato Sauce:
- In the same pan, add tomato puree and Troovy Pizza Pasta Sauce.
- If needed, you can use some of the pasta water to adjust the sauce's consistency.
- Season the sauce with Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper to taste.
- Cook the sauce until it's heated through and well combined.
- 4. Assemble and Bake:
- Preheat your oven to the appropriate temperature for baking (usually around 350°F or 180°C).
- Spread a layer of the tomato sauce in a baking dish.
- Place the stuffed pasta shells on top of the sauce.
- Sprinkle grated mozzarella cheese over the stuffed shells.
- 5. Bake:
- Bake the dish in the preheated oven until the cheese on top has melted and turned golden brown, typically for about 15-20 minutes.
- Serve:
- Remove from the oven and let it cool slightly before serving.
