Sweet Potato Cutlets

Sweet Potato Cutlets

Bursting with flavor and crispy goodness, these delightful bites combine the natural sweetness of sweet potatoes with the boldness of Troovy tandoori sauce. Follow these simple steps to savor a mouthwatering culinary creation.

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup Troovy Tandoori sauce
  • 2 large sweet potatoes
  • peeled and grated
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper 2
  • tablespoons olive oil

Step-by-step Method

Step 1: Preheat the oven

Preheat your oven to 400 degrees Fahrenheit (200 degrees Celsius). This will ensure that the oven is properly heated before you start cooking the patties.

Step 2: Prepare the sweet potato mixture

In a large bowl, combine the sweet potatoes, Troovy tandoori sauce, salt, and pepper. Mix well to ensure that the ingredients are evenly distributed. The Troovy tandoori sauce adds a delicious flavor to the sweet potatoes.

Step 3: Shape and coat the patties

Take a small handful of the sweet potato mixture and shape it into a small patty using your hands. Repeat this process until you have formed all the patties. Once the patties are shaped, coat them with breadcrumbs. This will give them a crispy texture when baked.

Step 4: Bake the patties

Place the coated patties on a baking sheet. Add olive oil to help them crisp up and prevent them from sticking to the sheet. Put the baking sheet with the patties in the preheated oven and bake until they turn golden brown on both sides. This usually takes around 20-25 minutes, but keep an eye on them to avoid overcooking.

Once the patties are golden brown and cooked through, remove them from the oven. Allow them to cool slightly before serving. These sweet potato tandoori patties make a delicious and flavorful appetizer or side dish. Enjoy!
