Tomato Shorba
Ingredients
1/2 cup Troovy’s Tomato sauce
2 cups vegetable broth
1 onion, chopped
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 tsp ginger, minced
1-2 green chilies, chopped
1 tsp cumin seeds
1/2 tsp turmeric powder
1/2 tsp garam masala
1 tbsp oil
Salt to taste
Chopped coriander leaves
Lemon juice
Directions
Heat oil, add cumin seeds, then onions, garlic, ginger, and chilies. Cook until onions are golden.
Stir in turmeric, garam masala, and cook for 1 minute.
Add Troovy’s Tomato sauce and cook for 2 minutes.
Pour in vegetable broth, bring to boil, simmer for 10-15 minutes.
Adjust salt, add coriander and lemon juice if desired.
Hot, garnished with coriander.
