ZUCCHINI ROSE PUFF
Ingredients:
- Puff pastry sheets
- 2 zucchini, thinly sliced
- 1/2 cup Troovy Tandoori Dip
- Salt to taste
- 1/2 cup cream cheese
- Olive oil
- Black pepper
Directions:
- 1. Preheat Oven:
- Preheat your oven to the temperature indicated on the puff pastry package.
- 2.Prepare Puff Pastry Strips:
- Roll out the puff pastry sheets and cut them into strips.
- 3.Season Zucchini:
- Toss the thinly sliced zucchini with a bit of olive oil, salt, and black pepper to taste.
- 4.Create Zucchini Roses:
- Lay the seasoned zucchini slices slightly overlapping on the puff pastry strips.
- Carefully roll up each puff pastry strip, creating a rose shape with the zucchini inside. (You can refer to our Insta video for a visual demonstration on Tuesday).
- 5. Arrange on Baking Sheet:
- Place the zucchini roses on a baking sheet, making sure they are spaced apart.
- 6. Bake:
- Bake in the preheated oven until the puff pastry is golden and puffed, usually following the package instructions.
- 7. Serve:
- Once baked, remove the zucchini and puff pastry roses from the oven.
- Allow them to cool slightly before serving.
